Overview
Bepanthen® Nappy Care Ointment contains the active substance dexpanthenol, which is incorporated in an ointment base with a high fat content.1. The active ingredient dexpanthenol is converted in the skin into vitamin pantothenic acid which supports the development and regeneration of the skin from the inside to the surface.2
The high fat content of Bepanthen® Nappy Care Ointment forms a fine lipid film on the skin surface and protects it from external influences and moisture loss.1

How to apply Bepanthen® Nappy Care Ointment3
For baby care: Apply Bepanthen® Nappy Care Ointment after each drying up over the buttocks and the genitals of the infant after you have thoroughly cleaned these body parts with water.
- During lactation period: Apply Bepanthen® Nappy Care Ointment to the nipples after each time of breastfeeding. Before the next preparation for child breastfeeding, the ointment must be wiped off carefully and completely.
- For the care and prevention of nappy rash: Apply Bepanthen® Nappy Care Ointment one to several times daily to skin as needed.
